In this key operational role, we are seeking an experienced supervisor with a commitment to deliver core road, drainage and footpath maintenance services, provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance crews to deliver high quality and cost effective civil infrastructure maintenance that meets the City’s standards and increases community satisfaction.
To succeed in this role you will have a diploma in civil engineering or equivalent and considerable experience in a supervisory role, comprehensive knowledge of the operations of municipal engineering in construction and maintenance, well-developed communication skills and have a focus on excellent customer service.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- Sound time management and organisational skills
- Well-developed human resource management and leadership skills including managing outside workforce.
- Considerable knowledge of worksite safety in accordance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation
- Considerable experience in municipal engineering in construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent and considerable experience in similar works.
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence
We are offering a gross salary of $99,138 per annum, and:
- 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
