Join our dedicated Irrigation team and play a key role in maintaining the City’s irrigation assets to ensure they operate efficiently and meet our high standards.
As an experienced professional in commercial irrigation, you’re a self-motivated team player who takes initiative and thrives in both collaborative and independent work environments. You bring strong troubleshooting skills and can confidently resolve faults ranging from simple to complex irrigation systems. This role offers the opportunity to build on your existing experience and further develop your career in a supportive and dynamic team
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- Certificate III in Irrigation Technology or equivalent, and experience in a similar field relevant to the position
- Substantial irrigation experience
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment or able to work alone under direction
- Able to prioritise work and manage own time
- Sound written and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in accordance with workplace health and safety industry obligations
- Able to demonstrate the safe operations and maintenance of plant and equipment
- Experience in dealing with the public in a conducive manner
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence
This position offers a gross weekly wage of $1,488 which incorporates all allowances and penalty rates, as well as:
- 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
