The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Governance, Quality and Education, this is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled clinical leader to influence quality outcomes across UPA's Residential Aged Care and Community Services.
As our Clinical and Quality Nurse Advisor, you will provide expert clinical advice, strengthen governance and compliance, support continuous quality improvement initiatives, and help ensure our services consistently meet and exceed the Aged Care Quality Standards.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, mentoring others, and driving meaningful organisational change.
This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing

Provide expert clinical and quality support across UPA services.

Lead the development and review of evidence-based clinical policies and procedures.

Support compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.

Coach, mentor and educate clinical teams to strengthen best practice and improve care outcomes.

Lead or contribute to organisation-wide quality improvement and clinical governance projects.

Analyse clinical trends and recommend initiatives that enhance resident and client outcomes.

Partner with leaders across the organisation to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Regular travel across UPA services is an essential part of this role.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (with no restrictions).

Relevant degree-level nursing qualification.

Postgraduate qualification in aged care, health care or a related discipline.

Minimum five years' post-graduate experience in a senior clinical role within the aged care sector.

Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and quality management systems.

Excellent clinical assessment, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Outstanding communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement abilities.

A genuine passion for improving the quality of care for older Australians.
