The Opportunity – 24 Month fixed term contract:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who will support solution design and technical alignment for system integrations within our Customer Transformation Program - a strategic initiative focused on modernizing core customer platforms, enhancing digital channels, and streamlining business processes. Responsibilities include:
- Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements, user stories, and process flows related to system integrations and data exchanges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders — to ensure integration solutions meet business needs and technical standards.
- Map and document data flows between core platforms, identifying dependencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and validate integration designs and interface specifications.
- Support testing and validation of integrated systems by defining acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases, and assisting with defect triage.
- Provide clear traceability between business requirements, integration designs, and delivered outcomes, ensuring alignment with the broader Customer Transformation roadmap.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) highly regarded
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on system integrations (API, Data flows, cloud environments etc)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and system requirements into clear documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with digital channels & core Customer platforms (desirable)
- Experience in agile and/or hybrid delivery environments, with strong facilitation and requirements management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in presenting to senior leadership and governance forums
- Experience with major corporate transformations (desirable)
- Experience within Utilities/Energy industry (desirable)
