The Opportunity
UPA is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at Murray Vale Shalem in the Riverina Murray Region.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide person-centred clinical care and make a genuine impact in the lives of older Australians within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Located in Lavington, Murray Vale Shalem is a 60-bed residential aged care home dedicated to delivering exceptional care to the local community, supported by an experienced leadership and corporate team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- New graduate and post-graduate applications are encouraged
- Experience working with residents living with dementia, or willingness to develop these skills
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a genuine passion for aged care
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster

Pre-Employment Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Meet UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination requirements, including COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations
- Undertake a National Criminal History Check
- Complete a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
