Thanks to NSW Government funding and support through the “A fresh start for local government apprentices, trainees and cadets” program, we have an exciting opportunity available in our Performing Arts Centre team. The Goulburn Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) is a state-of-the-art proscenium arch theatre that has been established as a premier destination since opening its doors in 2022.
As the Administration Trainee – Performing Arts Centre you will be responsible for providing administrative support to internal and external customers of the Goulburn Performing Arts Centre.
YOUR TRAINEESHIP
As part of your traineeship, you will:
- complete a Certificate III in Business Administration
- be paid while you learn from experienced mentors
- get hands-on experience with real projects
- build practical skills that employers value
- contribute to meaningful work in your local area
- set yourself up for a successful future in local government
- have access to e-learning platforms and ongoing training and support through Council’s cultural development program
YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT
During your traineeship, you will have access to:
- a commencing weekly salary up to $947.70, dependent upon age and experience (more information can be provided by the below contact)
- 12% superannuation
- a 35 hour week, working a 9 day fortnight
- 2 health and wellbeing leave days for your Christmas break
- 3 weeks sick leave per year, cumulative where unused
