About the role
As a key member of our team as a SCADA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in configuring, commissioning, and providing essential support for the SCADA system. Reporting to a Senior Automation Engineer, your responsibilities will be instrumental in ensuring the effective control and monitoring of the Endeavour Energy electrical network. Key Accountabilities
- Design, configure, commission, and maintain SCADA systems — including Master Station, RTU databases, and user interfaces — to ensure reliable network monitoring and control.
- Manage telemetry and control integration between Endeavour Energy’s SCADA and ADMS systems.
- Develop and implement network automation routines and control logic to meet operational and business needs.
- Ensure meticulous documentation compliance, especially pertaining to SCADA project and design documentation, and the implementation of network automation software routines.
- Offer SCADA support, especially during network emergencies, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the electrical network, with a commitment to rostered after-hours support.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and support project delivery.
- High-level administration of SCADA systems including servers, operating systems, and application software.
- Provide advice on SCADA requirements for projects and network automation software routines.
- Offer engineering input to project design, policy, and process development.
- Contribute to new technology pilots, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and reliability in design, review, and commissioning activities.
- Deliver advanced technical support and resolve complex cross-functional technical challenges.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or registered in New South Wales as a Professional Engineer
