Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following key position.
TOURIST OFFICER (Permanent)
As the welcoming face of Griffith, the role of the Tourist Officer is key to creating a positive first impression, promoting the region’s vibrant image, and providing quality tourism information and customer service to visitors and residents.
Skills and Knowledge: The successful applicant will need to have high level interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, demonstrated experience and knowledge of local visitor experiences, products, attractions, events and services.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will need to have an Australian Class C driver licence. Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $64,716.60 to $71,186.44 (Grade 7). Plus superannuation.
