Audio-Visual Technician - Youth Services (Casual)
This is a Casual Position salary from $39.72 per hour plus 25% casual loading and superannuation

We're on the lookout for a highly experienced, creative and hands-on Audio-Visual Technician to support our Youth Services team in delivering exciting live music, recording sessions, and entertainment events across Wollongong.

What You'll Be Doing
This is your chance to be part of something exciting-where your AV skills meet youth culture, creativity, and community impact.
Set the stage for live music, open mic nights, and creative youth events.
Install and operate AV gear-projectors, sound systems, lighting, video conferencing tools.
️ Troubleshoot tech issues and keep everything running smoothly.
Collaborate with young people and staff to deliver custom AV setups.
Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
Stay ahead of tech trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Work flexible hours-including evenings and weekends-to support events, because that's when the fun happens.

Under Part 2, Section 6 of the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012, this position has been designated as requiring a paid NSW Working With Children Check. Applicants are required to provide a NSW Working with Children Check application/clearance reference number to their application.
This position involves undertaking manual tasks relating to the set-up of Audio-Visual equipment. Applicants should be physically capable to undertake the duties as outlined in the job. Evening and Weekend work will be a requirement of this role. We are looking for casual staff who are flexible with their working hours who can be called upon at short notice.
