The role
We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Administration Assistant to support our Development Administration team. This is a temporary part-time position ending 30 June 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and service delivery of our Regulatory Services unit. The role is based on 17.5 hours per week, ideally suited to someone seeking flexible part-time work in a professional environment.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Planning Directorate
• Draft correspondence, manage databases, and prepare documentation
• Register and manage records using Council’s information systems
• Respond to internal and external customer enquiries
• Maintain and update Council registers and applications
• Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes

You will have
• Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and records management systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and commitment to customer service
The salary for this opportunity starts at $66,379 (Grade C, Step 1) plus 12% super, pro-rata to part-time hours.
