Technical Support Officer
- 2 roles available- one Permanent full-time, 35 hours per week and one temporary full time role for up to 4 months
- Salary from $75,508.85 to $81,729.83 + 12% super

We are currently seeking Technical Support Officer (TSO) to provide business administration support to development and certification staff with our City Standards and Compliance Team. This is not an IT related role, but rather a role focused on providing technical advice and administrative support to the team, customers and the wider council. The successful incumbent will be responsible for drafting statements of evidence for legal proceedings under instruction of a delegated office, researching and detailing history of food shops and other premises and compiling reports and provided statistics for corporate reporting.

The successful candidates will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Relevant qualification and/or extensive demonstrated job-related experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated administrative and proficient word processing skills.
- Experience in a technical support environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal, organisation skills and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Commitment to professional supportive approach to activities and service provision. Capacity to empathise and communicate clearly and effectively with people from a wide variety of business, community and demographic backgrounds.
- Experience in, and/or an understanding of Local Government and/or demonstrated understanding of Council’s main business functions will be highly regarded.
- Sound knowledge and experience of corporate record management, systems/processes and the use of confidential and sensitive information will be highly regarded.
