About the role: Master Scheduler – Customer Transformation (24 month contract)
Reporting into the Program Delivery Lead, the Master Scheduler will play a crucial role in EnergyAustralia’s Customer Transformation Program Program Office by designing, developing and managing the project schedule. Responsibilities include;
- Work closely with Project Managers to build and maintain detailed schedules in MS Project and Jira, ensuring clear dependencies and alignment across both tools.
- Identify and record the progress of work to baseline
- Ensure schedule variances are included in applicable reporting and manage the variation either back to baseline or re-baseline the schedule
- Work in collaboration with the project team to ensure that all required information is captured in the schedule and is accurate
- Own the facilitation of schedule conflict resolution, by supporting the delivery teams to create mitigation plans and make trade-off decisions
- Manage the program’s dependency reporting within business forums
- Establish and maintain the end-to-end program schedule hierarchy, setting clear reporting standards for workstreams to ensure accurate progress, risks, and dependencies are surfaced
About You:
You’re a proactive and detail-oriented scheduler with experience supporting complex projects and thrive in dynamic environments. Additionally, you will have some of the following:
- Demonstrated scheduling experience in design & delivery of complex projects from concept to implementation (minimum 5 years of scheduling experience)
- Demonstrated proficiency in commonly used enterprise project scheduling tools, Jira & MS Office applications
- Industry project management certification (Prince2, AIPM etc. is desirable)
- Strong experience managing project controls (Dependencies, Deliverables, Assumption, Risks, Issues)
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira & Sharepoint for scheduling, tracking progress, and managing timeframes across complex initiatives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong ability to lead and influence stakeholders and the ability to communicate concepts to a wide audience
- Experience facilitating planning sessions, and team alignment activities.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments, with the ability to identify delivery risks and recommend corrective actions as needed.
