Position Overview
This four-year apprenticeship offers comprehensive training within our Civil Works and Presentation team. You’ll assist with planned and reactive maintenance, restoration, and construction of civil assets such as roads and stormwater infrastructure.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Working with concrete and asphalt.
- Excavation and concrete cutting.
- Limited plant operation.
- Traffic management and surveying.
You’ll receive structured, hands-on training while completing your Certificate III in Civil Construction. Attendance at the allocated Registered Training Organisation and completion of all learning components is essential.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prioritise safety and report hazards promptly.
- Complete mandatory training within required timeframes.

Candidate Profile
We’re looking for individuals who are eager to learn and committed to building a career in civil construction.
Essential:
- Completion of Year 10 Record of School Achievement.
- Ability to meet manual handling and physical requirements.
- Willingness to work outdoors and use trade-related equipment.
- Genuine interest in civil construction.
Desirable:
- Class C driver’s licence.

- Package: $43,024.80 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
