We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual who thrives on making a positive impact. We have positions available in Timber Creek, Yarralin and Kalkarindji community.
As the Council Operations Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our Council Operations Manager and ensuring that our administrative processes run smoothly.
You will often act as the first point of contact for many of our stakeholders, so a key component of this role will involve communicating with a range of community members in a manner that is culturally sensitive which includes: -
- Exceptional administrative skills, with a focus on discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Work Health & Safety principles.
As a candidate, you should be adaptable, possess a keen eye for detail, and be passionate about working with diverse communities. Your ability to connect with individuals from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures will be essential in fostering strong relationships and promoting an inclusive environment.

- Criminal History Check (recent, within 3 months)
- A current Working with Children’s Card (Ochre Card)
- A current unrestricted Drivers Licence

- Level 5 - Salary $78,559 to $81,887 (plus superannuation contributions and Remote area Allowance)
