- Salary: $76,302 - $85,765 gross p.a. plus 12% Super
- 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with the option of flexitime

About the Role
This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting Council's Geographic Information System (GIS) and Land Information System (LIS), ensuring data accuracy and timely updates. Key duties include property addressing, road and place naming coordination, liaising with external agencies, producing maps, responding to enquiries, and conducting field inspections for data collection. This includes:
- Cadastre maintenance - including processing subdivisions and plan registrations, property address numbers, updating of Deposited Plan Register.
- Deposited Plans - including obtaining copies, registering images in Council's GIS
- Street numbering - including the allocation of urban and rural numbers, issuance of letters or notices to customers, updating of GIS datasets, ordering of new plates and numbers, checking against subdivisions.

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Diploma in a field covering Spatial Analyst, Survey Drafting, Town Planning/Urban Design mapping, environmental mapping or equivalent experience
- Ability to consult, share information and work collaboratively.
- Demonstrated effective time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to balance competing workloads and deliver within deadlines.
- Experience as a system administrator of mapping systems, including maintenance of corporate cadastre and other spatial layers.
We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to data management, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be confident working with spatial systems, comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and capable of balancing both technical tasks and customer service. A keen interest in mapping, property and road naming, and fieldwork will be highly valued.
