SmartWatch is the City of Rockingham’s vehicle security patrol service. As the SmartWatch Team Leader you will oversee the daily operational activity of one of the SmartWatch teams and ensure the delivery of high quality, coordinated safety patrols within the community.
You will have previous experience as a supervisor and in security related work. You are able to use these skills and your experience to provide guidance and direction to your team, particularly in relation to conflict resolution and conflict management, ensuring personal safety at all times. You have strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills and will use these to engage with, and educate the community to promote safety. Able to foster and improve relationships, you will support the Coordinator SmartWatch with developing effective stakeholder partnerships. Previous experience in a community patrol service, or similar, will be highly regarded.
Our SmartWatch roster is currently being reviewed and the potential new roster options will be discussed at interview stage.

- Security Officers’ licence issued under the Security and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence
We are offering a gross salary of $83,781 per annum plus all the benefits that come with being an employee at CoR:
- 12% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute up to 5%
