About the role
Lane Cove Council is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Bush Regenerator to help care for our unique bushland and waterways.
In this hands-on role, you’ll work alongside our dedicated team to:
- Carry out bush regeneration activities across Lane Cove’s beautiful reserves.
- Supervise and support volunteers in programs such as Bushcare, HarbourCare, On the Verge, and the Community Nursery.
- Contribute to biodiversity conservation and habitat restoration projects.

About you
The
successful candidate will have:
- Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management or related field OR an equivalent qualification and experience
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Chemical Accreditation Certification AQF3
- A current ‘Paid Worker - Working with Children Check’ clearance, obtained from the NSW Commission for Children and Young People; OR a willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid Certificate OR willingness to obtain
- Experience in Bush Regeneration and Natural Area Restoration & Management;

Salary range:
The remuneration for this position is $41.44 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + superannuation.
