About the Role (12 Month FTC)
As the Product and Marketing Operations Leader, you’ll set the standard for operational excellence—ensuring strategic initiatives are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with energy and consumer regulations.
This role requires a proven leader with experience guiding technical teams to deliver with precision, applying proactive risk management and robust controls. You’ll build strong collaboration across a matrixed organisation and drive process and workflow improvements in complex technical and regulatory environments.

Marketing Operations - Oversee the implementation, maintenance and optimization of always-on mandatory customer communications and regulatory initiativ
- Leverage technologies, automation and robotics to reduce human intervention and improve efficiencies and continually optimise for operational excellence.
- Forecast budget, manage spend and explore options to reduce the overall expenditure on customer communications.

Pricing & Product Operations - Implementing and maintaining tariff structures, rates and discounts/offers, or other benefits that form part of the customer proposition in within business platforms and tools, such as Billing, CRM, Digital or Operational systems
- Leading Reprice and end of plan activities as required and in line with strategy and regulatory requirements

End-to-end uplift - Oversee the end-to-end uplift program, delivering improvements to workflows and processes for seamless execution while prioritizing initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalability.

Regulatory Compliance - Align to compliance frameworks, policies, tools, and techniques to support the business with risk and compliance management

Leadership and Management - Lead the team in alignment with EA Ways of Working to achieve business goals across the balanced scorecard
- Demonstrate effective stakeholder engagement across Customer and Enterprise business units, for needs that span The Board through to Front-Line teams, as well as vendors and external regulatory bodies
How can you support the Clean Energy Transition
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent career experience.
- Min 10+ years’ experience in leadership roles within relevant technical delivery roles.
- Ability to lead the development of technical team members, creating a strong culture of cross functional sharing and documented training activity
- Experience in managing technical and commercial issues and initiatives in a retail environment with a focus on driving continuous improvement of robust, high quality, and timely delivery with efficient use of resources.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
- Strong ability in driving advocacy and support for best practice technical delivery programs.
- Impressive written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in implementation of major change projects – process, people, and culture
- Outcome and improvement focused - proactive, result-oriented and able to satisfy internal customer expectations despite the dynamic business environment and changing demands
