The Opportunity
We have multiple opportunities for engaging and supportive individuals to prepare, teach and promote swimming lessons across BVSC pools in Bega, Pambula Beach, Eden, Candelo and Bemboka.
As a Swimming Instructor, you will instruct swimming and water safety programs and structure program times in conjunction with the Program Supervisor. You will engage positively with the community to promote our centres and liaise with the Program Supervisor to implement strategies that increase participation and improve programs.

About You
We are seeking individuals who hold a Swimming and Water Safety Teacher qualification and current industry registration.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to relate positively to children, parents and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to program changes including class times, type and group size.
- Proven understanding of the principles of teaching children in an aquatic environment.
- Appropriate level of physical fitness to carry out the duties required.
Benefits
These are seasonal casual positions working varying hours.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $40.05 gross per hour (inclusive of superannuation and casual loading), comprising of:
- $28.61 per hour base salary
- $7.15 per hour casual loading (calculated at 25%)
- $4.29 per hour superannuation (calculated at 12%)
