About the role:
Woollahra Preschool provides a strong bridge between home and school. We create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where childhood is celebrated, and children are facilitated to reach their maximum potential.
Our Preschool is a 4-unit community-based cost recovery service provided by Woollahra Municipal Council. We cater for 80 children per day, offering early childhood education for 160 children in the 3-6 year old age group over a week.
This role will lead the implementation of the 2025 Woollahra Preschool Service Review recommendations, driving operational improvements, system upgrades, and service enhancements to meet best practice standards.
About you
We are seeking a dynamic professional who thrives in leading change and improvement within early childhood or comparable environments. You will bring a strong grasp of ASECQA's National Quality Framework and the confidence to guide complex initiatives from concept through to delivery, working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Your ability to communicate clearly, facilitate meaningful conversations, and build strong relationships will be key to success in this role.
This position is subject to child protection screening, criminal history check and a pre-employment medical check.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in change management within early childhood education or similar settings
- Strong understanding of ACECQA’s National Quality Framework
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience in systems review and implementation, including digital platforms
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Satisfactory Working with Children Check
Desirable Criteria
- Familiarity with HubWorks, Storypark Manage, or similar platforms
- Experience in local government or community-based preschool settings
