About the roleBathurst Regional Council is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to join the Waste Management Centre Team in the role of Waste Collection Team Leader.
The Waste Collection Team Leader is responsible for leading the Waste Collection Team to ensure the provision of reliable, cost effective daily waste collection service with a minimum of missed services.
This position will also be required to relieve as a Waste Collection driver when required.
Key Requirements- Previous experience in leading or supervising a small operating team
- Demonstrated basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
- Proven experience in communication, negotiation and consultation with individuals and groups
- A strong commitment to quality customer service with a culture of continuous improvement
- Experience in Waste Management
- Current HR licence

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug and alcohol screen.
Salary:$1,190.10 to $1,250.24 per week + 12% superannuation + (allowances etc)
Position Status:Permanent Full-time
Hours of work:38 hours per week with an RDO every third week
