About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Administrator to join the Engineering Services team at Bathurst Regional Council. You will support the functions within the Technical Services Department of Council to deliver high-quality services to the community.
Position Summary
Provide administrative assistance and support to the functions of the Department of Council. Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support across the Technical Services Section, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the Engineering Services Department.
You will deliver responsive support to colleagues as required and act as a professional first point of contact for the community, representing Council with clear, courteous and solutions-focused communication when responding to enquiries, requests and feedback.
Essential Criteria
Deliver comprehensive administrative and governance support, including preparation of Council documentation, tender processes and committee coordination in line with protocols and deadlines.
Provide professional customer service and communication, responding effectively to enquiries and resolving issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Support effective team outcomes through coordination, basic research, accurate correspondence and strong working relationships.
- Current Drivers licence.

Salary:$1,190.10 to $1,250.24 per week + 12% superannuation
Position Status:Permanent – Full-time
Hours of work:35 hours per week with an RDO every third week
