We are looking for a Bus Driver to join our team At Wahroonga. We have a casual opportunity available that includes being available for weekend work.
- The ability to transport residents and other passengers
- Willingness to obey all traffic laws to ensure passengers arrive to their destination safely
- Proactively maintaining a clean and mechanically sound vehicle at all times
- Strong understanding of client centred, community-based care
- The ability to follow safety, quality, and hygiene standards
- Assisting passengers with getting on and off the bus as needed
- Assisting with loading and unloading wheelchairs on the bus
- Local knowledge of the area highly regarded
- Knowledge of correct manual handling procedures
- A sound understanding of aged care and the principles guiding this sector
- Current Light Rigid NSW Driver's License or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication skills, and willingness to follow instructions
- Demonstrated commitment to work professionally as part of a team and also with minimal supervision
