ADD VALUE - THE ROLE
The
Community and Customer Services Assistants are an integral part of the Community Service Delivery Team working together to achieve the objectives and initiatives outlined in Council’s Management Plan.
Community and Customer Services Assistants are primarily responsible for assisting with frontline customer service functions across Council’s Community and Customer Service sites. This assistance includes basic administrative duties, supervision of young children and customer service. Locations of work may include the Library, Youth Venue, OOSH, Visitor Information Centre and/or Customer Service.
Essential to this role is experience using computer applications including internet, email and word processing complemented by demonstrated teamwork skills. A working with children check is required for this role.
Experience in a public library environment, youth service, childcare including OOSH or local government customer service roles would be advantageous.
This position is offered on a Casual basis working up to 35 hours per week. Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 5 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of
$42.45 to $47.75 per hour including casual loading, plus superannuation
