Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position(s).
TOURIST OFFICER (Casual)
As the welcoming face of Griffith, provide quality tourism information at the highest level of customer service to visitors and residents. Be passionately conversant with the range of visitor experiences, products, attractions, events and services in Griffith and surrounds. Operation of the Griffith Tourism Hub shop front is also key to this role.
Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will require excellent customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and knowledge of Griffith and the region.

Hours of work: Predominately weekend shifts, and week days as needed.
Salary and conditions: Commencement hourly rate $42.9214 (Inclusive of casual loading) Penalty rates for any weekend work (Grade 6).
