About the
role
An
exciting opportunity exists within the Rates & Valuation team to support the
delivery of the Annual General Valuation. The successful candidate will assist
in maintaining property information in Council’s property database and
Valuation system (VM Online), in the creation of property assessments and
support with street numbering, gather and compile valuation data for the
Valuer-General Victoria appointed valuers and provide, assistance in the
completion of the Supplementary Valuations process.
You will
have highly developed time management skills, demonstrate analytical skills and
have the ability to work autonomously. Strong interpersonal skills with
proven experience in maintaining strong relationships with a range of
stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in reviewingbuilding
plans, permits, approvals, subdivided properties and sales information within a
government setting.
You will
play an essential role within the team with your high level of attention to
detail and effective communication contributing to our success.
Skills and
experience
- Ability to identify and work towards continuous improvement.
- Can demonstrate effective verbal and written communication
skills in dealing with customer enquiries.
- Knowledge and understanding
of property valuations, land use types and land subdivision processes
would be viewed favourably.
- Experienced in maintaining
accurate information and records within Council and Valuationsystems.
- Can demonstrate attention to detail and ability to process
high volume and repetitive data tasks.
