$66,299 to $74,273 per annum (based on 70 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation and a 9 day fortnight. Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience

About the role
This position is an operational role that provides administration support within Council’s Planning Division. The position will facilitate the provision of quality customer services to stakeholders and customers and provide project and administrative services.
The position is required to participate in and, at times, lead other initiatives that aim to progressively improve the Planning & Compliance Division’s processes, practices and customer services.
Position requirements
Qualifications
- TAFE Certificate in Secretarial or Business Studies or equivalent accumulated knowledge, skill and experience
Desirable Skills
- Experience in a Local Government or similar environment
- Prior experience using VMWare, record management systems and Customer Request Management systems
About you
The Administration Support Officer role requires an individual who;
- Is proactive and enthusiastic with good problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Provides high quality customer service
- Has the ability to set and meet deadlines
- Has excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills, and
- Possesses excellent computer skills
Previous experience facilitating the smooth running of a busy team using your process and procedural skills will be essential
