This role can be based in either Perth or Brisbane.
More about the role:
• Provide high-quality, timely legal advice across multiple business units.
• Manage a diverse workload with competing deadlines.
• Review, negotiate and draft customer and supplier contracts in line with Toll’s preferred positions.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and the Global Legal Framework.
• Partner closely with stakeholders to deeply understand operational requirements and risks in service-based industries.
• Support legal strategy implementation led by Managing Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel.
• Collaborate with fellow lawyers across the Australian Logistics legal team.
• Contribute to group-wide legal projects.
• Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory changes.

More about you:
Knowledge & Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Background in oil & gas, marine, mining, defence, or similar sectors — ideally supporting major corporates or government clients.
• Experience with project and/or corporate documentation.
• Confident in face-to-face negotiations.
Technical Skills
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship-building skills.
• High emotional intelligence, empathy and collaborative mindset.
Qualifications
• Law degree.
• Admitted legal practitioner with a current, unrestricted practising certificate in Australia.
