Georges River Council is seeking anEarly Childhood Educator (Diploma)to join our positive and inclusive team at Jack High Child Care Centre, based in Beverly Hills.
About The Role
The Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) is expected to be active and collaborative in their engagement, contributing to a dedicated team focused on delivering high quality early childhood education and care to the community. You will play a key role in the development and implementation of educational programs tailored to meet the diverse developmental, cultural, and additional needs of children in your care, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
In this role you will actively communicate vital information to families regarding their children’s needs and developmental progress, offering specialized advice on specific areas of concern as requested or required by parents. Taking on the role of the Responsible Person within the service, you will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the centre when necessary.
What We Offer
- Permanent Full-time role - 70 hours per fortnight
- Salary range $71,705.12 - $83,081.27 per annum plus 12% superannuation (dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

What We Are Looking For
- Diploma of early childhood education and care or equivalent. (for the purposes of the Education and Care Services National Law, and published in accordance with regulation 137(1)(a) of the Education and Care Services National Regulations)
- Current First Aid Certificate, Provide First aid in an education and care setting HLTAID012 with at least 6 months until expiry
- Current CPR certificate – HLTAID009, with at least 6 months until expiry
- Current Working with Children Check, with at least 6 months until expiry
- NSW Government approved Child Protection Training Course Certificate - CHCPRT001, CHCPRT025 or equivalent
- NSW Food Handling Certification
- Sound communication skills and ability to relate well to children, parents, staff, volunteers and the community
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements
