- Salary from $98,610 per annum, (plus super) based on a 35-hour week.

About You
To excel in this role, you’ll bring a relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, along with at least three years’ experience in a similar position.
You have a comprehensive understanding of revenue systems, including rates, property services, water billing, and sundry debtors. Importantly, you also demonstrate a deep appreciation of the distinct responsibilities and contributions of each role within the revenue team.
You have a proven ability to lead and coordinate a small team to achieve organisational objectives. Your strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills enable you to build positive relationships and deliver high-quality outcomes. You’re committed to consultation and engagement, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where innovation and continuous improvement are valued. Experience with the Pathway system is a bonus.
The Role
Armidale Regional Council is seeking a dynamic Revenue Coordinator to lead our Revenue team and drive excellence in service delivery. In this role, you’ll manage all aspects of Council’s revenue function, including rates, charges, billing, and debt recovery, while ensuring compliance with statutory and policy requirements. You’ll provide strategic advice, coordinate operational plans, and champion continuous improvement and innovation across the team.
As a key leader, you’ll foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance, empowering your team to deliver outstanding results for our community. You’ll engage with internal and external stakeholders, set clear goals, and implement best practice solutions that support Council’s vision and values.
