Do you have experience with the preparation of project plans, specifications, tenders, contracts and other documentation necessary for delivery of water and waste related projects? Are you interested in ensuring water & wastewater system capacity as well as planning the works to meet Councils current and future needs? We would like to hear from you!
Council are seeking a professional engineer with 2-5 years experience in Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Project Management & has an understanding of the application of legislation, guidelines, codes and standards.
You will have highly developed communication/negotiation skills and the ability to work efficiently in this autonomous role.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Engineering qualifications acceptable for membership of Engineers Australia as a Professional Engineer and 2-5 years experience in Water & Wastewater Infrastructure Project Management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage projects and people in order to meet deadlines
- Immunisations (or willingness to undergo) Hepatitis, Tetanus & Q Fever
- A high level of autonomy and initiative, with a drive to succeed
- Driver Licence

Salary range: Grade 19 - $112,011.74 - $121,200.39 per annum plus 12% superannuation and a leaseback vehicle for a 35 hour work week. A Civil Liability Allowance of 3.5% will be added to the base salary. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
