The Opportunity: Operations Manager – Barrow Island
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Resources & Industrials division on Barrow Island, WA. This position operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, offering an excellent work–life balance. A location allowance is provided, along with access to top‑notch camp facilities to ensure comfort while on site.
Reporting to the Business Manager – Site Services WA, you will lead and manage all operational activities on Barrow Island. In this pivotal role, you will:
Ensure people, equipment and resources are used efficiently, and activities are completed safely, accurately and in line with customer requirements, policies, procedures and legislation.
Manage the operation within contractual parameters to deliver high-quality customer service across supply bases, linehaul, rail, and infield operations.
Enhance profitability by controlling costs and improving operational efficiencies.
Maintain regular engagement with customers to review performance and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure all staff and service providers are trained in Toll procedures and equipment use, including materials handling equipment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Minimum 5 years of management experience in transport, logistics, or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry codes of practice.
Understanding of offshore and remote-resource operations.
A strong customer focus and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
