The Role
Reporting to the Manager Property Management
and Strategy and based in Windsor NSW, the primary purpose of this role is to assist
in the coordination, development, implementation and review of the Council's property
management portfolio.
About You
You have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of
the relevant legislative provisions relating to land use and property,
experience in dealing with commercial and residential leasing, along with high
level of analytical skill. You will have strong leadership capabilities,
effective communication skills both verbal and written with proven ability to
work in pressure situations and deal with confidential information.
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in conveyancing, property or related
discipline or extensive experience in these fields within a specialist real
estate, public authority or local government environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of
the relevant legislative provisions relating to land use and property matters
including Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991, Local Government
Act 1993, Roads Act 1993, and Crown Land Management Act 2016
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with people from all
levels of the organisation and external stakeholders.
- Proficient report and correspondence writing
skills.
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Class C Drivers Licence
- WHS General Construction Work in NSW
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Successful applicants will be required to
undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
