About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Asset Inspection Officer to join our award winning Assets Management team!
This position is responsible for carrying out defects and condition inspections for Council assets including updating our asset management systems.
The successful candidates will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Engineering or Project Management or relevant discipline
and/or relevant industry experience in asset management.
• Demonstrated experience in applying asset management principles and practices including undertaking asset condition assessments.
• Highly developed interpersonal and negotiating skills with ability to communicate and work collaboratively with different stakeholders including professionals, industry, community, agencies and government groups.
• Working knowledge of, and demonstrated commitment to, Work Health & Safety.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, Australian Standards, IPWEA practice notes and Building codes in relation to asset inspection and investigation. - Commitment to living our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, trust and optimism.
