- Salary commencing from $114,493, based on skills and experience + 12% Superannuation

About the opportunity
Working at Wollondilly Shire Council means joining a community-focused team dedicated to delivering local government services in one of New South Wales’ fastest growing regions.
Council is looking for passionate applicants to join our Parks & Recreation section in a newly established role. Reporting to the Facilities & Recreation Team Leader, you will lead the design and delivery of landscape projects from concept to construction, bringing creativity, innovation, and technical expertise to every stage. Working closely with internal teams, consultants, and the community, you will help create sustainable, high-quality public spaces that enhance the liveability and enjoyment of our region.
To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent AND Eligible for registration with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects
- Minimum two years post-graduate experience in Landscape Architecture
- Construction Industry White Card AND Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Demonstrated written, graphic, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated understanding of urban design, open space planning, environmental sustainability and other related contemporary issues.
- High-level skills and experience in documentation using AutoCAD
- Ability to work to deadlines & budgets, working on multiple projects at the one time
