- Salary commencing from $73,116 per annum, based on skills and experience + 12% Superannuation

About the opportunity
Wollondilly Shire Council has a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or student nearing the completion of their engineering degree to gain hands on experience with the support of a team of Development Engineers. Reporting to the Engineering Development Team Leader, the successful candidate will be involved in the assessment and approval of engineering design drawings, construction audits and the final acceptance of works on behalf of Council.
To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in final year or completed Degree qualifications Civil Engineering related discipline.
- Drivers Licence.
- NSW White Card for construction works.
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and innovation when investigating, analysing and solving problems.
- Ability to communicate complex engineering principals to internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, research and provide practical solutions to technical problems.
