About the Opportunity
Cabonne Council has a permanent, full-time opportunity as a Financial Services Officer within the Finance team.
The purpose of this position is to provide an effective and efficient service in relation to front counter and phone-based customer service, creditors, debtors
and rates administration functions. The position works in collaboration, and on a rotational basis, with two other Financial Services Officers.

About You
This role is for someone with a strong foundation in fianance and customer service, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciling ledgers and managing rates administration with accuracy and efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Class C driver’s licence.
- Qualifications in relevant field.
- Knowledge of Microsoft excel and word, and database applications.
- Particular attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with customers.
- A systematic and organised approach to work with strong prioritisation and time management
skills.
Remuneration and Benefits
The appointment will be in accordance with the Local
Government (State) Award 2023 and Cabonne Council’s policies and conditions
of employment.
The position is graded 5-6 in Council's salary system with a gross weekly wage range of $1190.0 to $1367.20, dependant on qualifications and experience.
