Toll Global Forwarding delivers cargo across our global network via road, rail, sea, and air. About the Role
As an Air Freight Customer Service Representative, you will support the day‑to‑day management of air freight shipments, providing accurate documentation, timely customer updates, and effective coordination across internal teams and external partners. This role is ideal for someone who is customer‑focused, detail‑oriented, and looking to build experience in a fast‑paced logistics environment under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
This position can be based in either Adelaide or Perth.
As the Air Freight Customer Service Representative, you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and provide shipment updates
- Support air freight operations, including shipment processing and documentation
- Maintain accurate shipment records in CargoWise One (CW1)
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet service and delivery requirements
- Assist with cargo pick‑up, delivery, invoicing, and related administrative tasks
- Ensure regulatory compliance, escalate issues as required, and collaborate to meet service standards
Key Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in air freight customer service or operations
- A good understanding of air freight processes and regulations (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with freight systems such as CargoWise One preferred
- Strong communication, organisational, and time‑management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
- Detail‑oriented, customer‑focused, and team‑oriented with a willingness to learn and develop
