Department Leader Operations Planning

As Leader Operations Planning, you will play a critical role in strengthening operational performance, governance, and service delivery across projects, procurement, contracts, fleet, depots, and operations planning.

About You
You will bring:
- A degree in Engineering,
Business, Project Management, Fleet Management, Public Administration or
related discipline
- Significant experience in operational planning, project and contract management within a complex organisation (local government or similar environment desirable)
- Demonstrated capability in procurement governance, financial oversight and compliance‑based service delivery
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence, support and develop multidisciplinary teams
- Strong experience in systems, process integration and continuous improvement to drive efficiency and transparency
- Well‑developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build productive internal and external relationships
- A sound commitment to work health and safety, ethical conduct and respectful workplace behaviours
- Strong problem‑solving ability, sound judgement and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
