Toll Global Forwarding delivers cargo across our global network via road, rail, sea, and air. About the Role
The Air Freight Operations Coordinator – Import Air plays a key role in supporting the smooth execution of Import air freight movements. Working closely with senior team members, the role focuses on accurate documentation, effective coordination and adherence to regulatory requirements to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.
You’ll work a Thursday to Monday schedule, making this an ideal role for candidates who prefer mid‑week flexibility. We recognise the value of weekend availability and offer additional compensation for weekend work.
This position is available in Mascot, NSW and Westmeadows VIC.
As the Air Freight Operations Coordinator – Import Air, you will:
- Assist with booking air freight shipments and preparing standard shipping and customs documentation
- Accurately enter and maintain shipment data in internal systems
- Track shipment progress and provide status updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate routine cargo pick‑up and delivery activities under supervision
- Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders and transport providers for day‑to‑day operations
- Handle standard customer enquiries, escalating issues as required
- Support invoicing, administration and compliance with company and regulatory procedures
Key Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in air freight operations
- Basic understanding of customs and aviation regulations desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with freight or logistics systems advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with effective organisational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet operational deadlines
- Proactive team player with a customer‑focused mindset and willingness to learn
- Available to work Thursday to Monday schedule
