Our highly skilled Communications and Marketing team delivers marketing, communications and community engagement activities, supporting a diverse range of stakeholders and promoting Council's activities, services and projects.
About the role:
We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Officer, Digital to join our team. This position is responsible for the preparing and implementing creative marketing campaigns and concepts to promote a range of activities, services and projects, while being a champion for our brand.
We are looking for an innovative and creative individual that has experience in a range of digital platforms and tools, including social media, websites, analytics and Google platforms.
The successful candidates will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Design, Communications, Digital Media or associated field, and/or extensive relevant job-related experience.
- Experience in developing content and campaigns for online, digital, multimedia and social media channels.
- Experience with paid peformance ads across social media and Google.
- Demonstrated experience providing creative briefs.
- Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to write copy to appeal to a range of audiences.
- Well-developed organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Current Class C driver’s licence.
