We deliver 28 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 380,000 residents.
The role
CBCity is looking for a community focused Carpenter to join CBCity! You will be working at Leslie St Depot, providing carpentry maintenance and installations services to Council assets. Conduct asset inspections, operate tools and equipment safely, and maintain responsibility for Council vehicles and equipment.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Perform programmed and reactive maintenance on Council assets.
- Complete general building, fencing, paving, and concrete works.
- Maintain parks, playgrounds, signage, furniture, and public amenities.
- Inspect assets and operate vehicles, tools, and equipment safely.
- Undertake other duties as required.

You will have
- Relevant Trade qualifications
- Experience in asset, infrastructure, building maintenance and construction maintenance or a similar field.
- Class C Drivers Licence
- White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $71,820 (Grade D, Step 1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
