About the Role
As a Laundry Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your attention to detail and caring approach will help ensure our residents feel valued and supported every day.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a friendly team and takes pride in delivering high-quality service.
What You Will Bring
- Knowledge of infection control practices and handling hazardous substances
- Understanding of continuous improvement processes
- A current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Strong laundry and cleaning skills with high attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting older people

Pre-Employment Requirements
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Provide evidence of vaccinations in line with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy, including COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations
- Complete a National Criminal History Check
- Undertake a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
