Title: Stormwater Operations Officer, Temporary - Full-time Role (3 years), 35 hours per week
Salary Range: $92604.95 to $107622.32 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience) + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance

The Environment & Resilience Unit prepares and plans for complex environmental, sustainability and engineering programs and projects to achieve quality outcomes for the residents and environment of the Northern Beaches.
The Stormwater Engineering Group within the Environment & Resilience Unit provides both strategic and operational management for the Council's stormwater assets. You will be working within the Stormwater Operations and Planning team who are tasked with operating and maintaining the network, undertaking investigations, and asset management tasks across the local government area. Additionally, the group is responsible for ensuring the high-performance delivery of stormwater asset services which include construction, operation, maintenance, and sustainable renewal, all aimed at meeting community needs while minimising environmental impact.

Our opportunity :
The key focus of this role is to provide support to the Stormwater Operations and Planning team with daily tasks such as:
1. Organising, co-ordinating, and managing operational and maintenance works for:
- Closed-circuit-television (CCTV) inspection works of stormwater assets,
- Water quality improvement devices,
- Jetting / robotics works,
- Proactive stormwater system cleaning and maintenance works,
2. Preparing request for quotation documents for large operational works such as major stormwater asset clean-outs (basins, water quality improvement devices, pipes, culverts, and channels),
3. Tracking allocated budgets, identifying variances, communicating resource needs, and taking corrective action where required.
4. Providing administration support for the stormwater planning and operations team.
