The Opportunity
Senior Manager - National Quality Assurance, Healthcare
We are seeking a Senior Manager – National Quality Assurance (Healthcare) to lead and elevate quality across our ANZ healthcare operations.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for the oversight, governance, and continuous improvement of Toll’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and business objectives.
As the ultimate accountable leader for quality and compliance, you will act as the named license holder across multiple healthcare sites and serve as the key representative for regulators, customers, and audit bodies.
This role offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution. Ideal for someone who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys driving tangible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As Senior Manager – National Quality Assurance (Healthcare), you will:
Lead the national Quality Assurance strategy, ensuring compliance across all healthcare operations
Oversee and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
Maintain critical licences and accreditations (TGA, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.) across all sites.
Act as the Quality Management Representative for audits, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Lead internal and external audits, including remediation of findings.
Drive investigations, CAPAs, and non-conformance management.
Manage significant quality events
Partner with operational leaders to ensure strong adherence to quality processes.
Support client onboarding, tenders, and new projects with quality oversight.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Extensive experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare quality environments.
Strong knowledge of TGA regulations, GMP (PIC/S), GWP, GDP & ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
Proven leadership experience across multi-site QA operations.
Experience with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS).
Computerised Systems Validation (CSV) experience.
Cold chain / temperature-controlled logistics expertise.
