Salary: $112,733.66- $131,014.78 + 12% Superannuation per annum

What you'll do
As a Corporate Planning and Reporting Specialist, you'll lead and coordinate Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework, ensuring the effective integration of legislated plans, adopted strategies and supporting frameworks into a cohesive and aligned corporate planning and reporting system.
Working across the organisation, you’ll play a key role in supporting evidence-based decision making, organisational performance and statutory compliance by translating strategic priorities into meaningful actions, performance measures and reporting outcomes. You’ll partner with stakeholders at all levels to coordinate planning activities, monitor progress and ensure reporting obligations are delivered effectively and within required timeframes.
You’ll contribute to a streamlined and financially sustainable planning and reporting function by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, strengthening governance processes and supporting a culture of accountability and performance. This role requires a highly organised and proactive professional who can manage competing priorities within a fast-paced and politically sensitive environment.

What you'll need (Essential Criteria)
- Demonstrated experience coordinating or contributing to strategic planning, corporate reporting, organisational performance, governance or related functions within a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to efficient and sustainable business practices.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines, dependencies and governance timeframes within a fast-paced and politically sensitive environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accountability.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive working relationships and collaborate across all levels of an organisation.
- Highly developed written communication skills with demonstrated experience preparing high-quality reports, strategic documents and briefing materials.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide meaningful insights to support evidence-based decision making.
- Demonstrated understanding of planning and reporting frameworks, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into measurable actions and performance outcomes.
Desirable Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience working within a NSW Local Government environment, including an understanding of the legislative, governance and political context in which councils operate.
- Experience designing or coordinating community-wide surveys or other structured data collection activities that support organisational performance, planning or service improvement.
- Experience supporting organisational change initiatives, capability uplift programs or continuous improvement activities within a complex and multidisciplinary organisation.
Other Requirements
- Hold and maintain a current Class C Driver Licence.
- Complete a National Police Check prior to commencement.
- Participate in Council's random Drug and Alcohol testing requirements.
