Exciting
opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive local council in delivering a
multi-year technology program. As part of the Enabling Projects team, you will
play a key role in leading change and adoption outcomes across complex,
organisation-wide initiatives, enabling sustainable, business-led change.
The ideal
candidate will have:
- Certification in change management and
demonstrated experience implementing a leader-led change approach.
- Demonstrated
ability to partner with leaders to apply practical change approaches, balancing
guidance with the expectation that leaders own and sustain change within their
teams.
- Highly developed communication skills with the
ability to translate complex change into simple, usable approaches that leaders
and teams can apply.

About the role
The Business
Enablement team is seeking an experienced change professional to lead and embed
sustained behaviour change across transformation initiatives. The role places a
strong emphasis on capability uplift and business ownership to adopt new ways
of working. The successful candidate will also be responsible for leading and
embed change management within projects, enabling effective delivery, adoption
and sustained behaviour change using practical, fit-for-purpose change methods
and tools.
Skills and experience
- Experience coaching leaders to
take ownership of change and drive adoption.
- Strong
experience in delivering change management activities across multiple
projects concurrently.
- Experience
developing and using adoption metrics to monitor, track and realise benefits.
- Strong
stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Experience
supporting teams post-implementation to reinforce new ways of working and
prevent going back to legacy practices.
