About the Role
You will support the development, maintenance and operation of Sydney Waters Total Reward projects and frameworks, providing practical and trusted analytical support.
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our frameworks remain practical, equitable and aligned to organisational needs. It provides high quality analytical support to Total Reward design, decision making and cyclical activities through accurate data analysis, insights and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of total reward programs and cyclical activities by preparing datasets, analysis, modelling, scenarios and supporting documentation in line with agreed frameworks and timelines.
- Coordinate and administer total reward activities including associated governance and ensuring delivery within agreed timelines.
- Analyse market trends and regulatory requirements to ensure competitive and compliant remuneration practices.
- Accountable for analysing role design and evaluation data to support the consistent and defensible application of job architecture frameworks, ensuring internal equity, market alignment, and high‑quality reward outcomes.
- Analyse trends and patterns across total reward elements, employee groups and roles, identifying risks, anomalies and areas requiring further investigation or escalation
About You
- Experience in a remuneration or reward role, gained either in-house or within a consulting environment.
- Demonstrated experience applying remuneration principles to provide practical, policy‑based advice in a corporate setting.
- Hands‑on experience with job evaluation and market pricing methodologies, including interpretation of salary survey data.
- Proven experience conducting remuneration analysis, modelling, and insights using remuneration data and tools.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance competing interests.
- Experience supporting or delivering corporate remuneration programmes, such as annual remuneration review cycles and out‑of‑cycle remuneration activities.
- Sound understanding of relevant remuneration‑related legislation, industrial instruments, and governance requirements.
