The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking a highly organised and responsible individual to join our finance team as a Senior Finance Officer. This role will be primarily responsible for leading the day-to-day management of our treasury function within the City.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the City complies with our cash handling, banking and internal reporting in the finance team as well as the wider organisation. You will work closely with our accounts payable and accounts receivable teams and also customer service officers in the Administration building and City facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring accurate and timely receipting of funds, reconciliation of transactions and bank accounts, processing payments, managing the City’s corporate credit cards and ongoing training and development of staff around the City’s treasury functions.
You will also contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives in finance.
