Salary range: $72,898.54 - $84,719.70 + 12% Superannuation per annum
What you'll do
As our Business Support Officer, you'll be responsible for providing timely and efficient customer service and administrative support to the Development Assessment & Regulation branch to facilitate smooth,responsive business operations within the team.
You'll be responsible for reviewing and efficiently processing documentation and tasks via the NSW Planning Portal related to development and other applications. You'll apply a customer approach in all aspects of the end-to-end processing of applications and related enquiries, ensuring a positive and streamlined experience throughout the approval process.

What you'll need to succeed (Essential Criteria)
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or other relevant related discipline and/or extensive experience working in an administrative support role within a fast-paced busy environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate experience in the use of word, excel, outlook and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of the requirements for corporate record keeping with experience in using an electronic document record keeping system.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, with a focused and responsive approach to managing customer enquiries with sound understanding of customer service principles.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work in a high-volume environment Previous experience in a role requiring tact and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the success of a team, as well as the ability to work independently, and show initiative and judgment in proposing solutions to challenges
- Demonstrated ability to apply attention to detail and accuracy to work and working with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in being able to analyse and interpret data to develop reports and/or provide data that assists in creating official documentation.
